Brittany Murphy and fiancee are splitsville

Poor Brittany, she's had just about as many failed engagements as Liz Taylor has had failed marriages. The newest casualty is Joe Macaluso. They met on the set of Little Black Book and became engaged New Year's Eve last year. At the Teen Choice Awards, Brittany was reluctant to answer questions about the impending wedding and on Wednesday released a statement saying that the pair had amicably separated and wished each other happiness. No word yet on why they split or on why Brittany is always engaged but never married.
