Jessica: Single and loving it

According to Entertainmentwise, Jessica Simpson isn't ready to date... just yet. In response to all the men she's been linked with, Simpson says,"I don't feel right about dating yet." As I recall, she was the one who initiated the divorce. Former husband Nick Lachey hinted in an interview shortly after the pair split that it was Jessica who might have been unfaithful. Is she playing the sympathy card here by appearing fragile and emotionally damaged? Or is Nick the evil one of the two? After watching numerous episodes of Newlyweds, I am of the opinion that Nick and his family were the most sane, down-to-earth people on that show. Perhaps this "not ready to date" thing is a carefully placed media strategy by Father Simpson to get Jess back into the good graces of the public. [image]
