Comedy Central vs. Tom Cruise & Scientology

Comedy Central has decided to allow the South Park episode "Trapped in the closet" to air on July 19 in a rerun episode after abruptly pulling from the lineup four months ago. Speculation was made that it had been pulled due to Tom Cruise's threats to boycott promotions for MI:III, although Cruise denies these allegations. This decision came shortly after the episode won a nomination from the Emmy Awards for best animated program. But while Comedy Central has given the green light for "Trapped," they are still saying no to airing an unsensored episode featuring the Prophet Mohammad in what creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone say was a commentary on the violence sparked from cartoons in a Danish newspaper.
